    Well guys, I'm not going to make it this time.
    Some friends are coming into town that I haven't seen in over a year.
    Going to spend some time with them.
    There is always next year

      DaveG and I will undoubtedly be meeting Blue Flight Leader just after the 70/77 interchange heading north, at the usual MacDonalds (which we missed last time).

              OMG I actually almost made it this time. My car is in the paint booth as I write this. It will get finished up Sat afternoon. It will still need buckled back up. BUT, it will be done for the Spring one. Interior and all. I will post pics before and after both in and out. Definitely not Pimptiva BUT most definitely Mytiva.

                You don't have to drive your festiva to come to the meet.
                But if you don't feel right without being in one I and at least 2 other people will be passing very close to you and I'm certain can make room for you and drop you back off safe and sound!

                      Thanks guys for the offer, BUT

                      1. Yes, I would feel funny going without a Festiva. But that is not my excuse.
                      2. The real reason. I will be painting (actually my body and paint guys will be painting and I will be watching) the Festiva all day at the garage.

                      We got it primed this evening, and to be honest I can't wait to get it done so I can start working on the interior. It is going to be one of my main Demo vehicles for my own startup doing custom car audio/video, nav, alarms, remote starters, etc.

                      The paint is going to be awesome.The wheels are in, tires are mounted, and paint is close. I really do promise that I will meet all you guys one of these days at one of these here meets.

                              We had great weather for the meet! And had a good time cooking out. But it was the smallest Ohiostive turn out ever, not sure why. Still had a great time with DaveG and his girlfriend/wife??, Genevadirt, PU241, Safety guy, and myself.

                                I just got back to campus!

                                I only got 35.8mpg on this trip!

                                John, my earlier mpg count of 28 mpg was wrong. I was using the wrong receipt gallons figure.
