A transplant to Johnson City from NC! Interesting. I did just the opposite 25 years ago!
I keep looking for Festiva's when I'm in the Tri-Cities, but haven't had any luck. Like Dean says, you should come on down anyway. There'll be plenty of cars for you to get ideas from. Come join the fun!
Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.
In memory of Dean Allen - V8 Festiva 1955-2010

I just got PeeWee back from the shop. It's running good. (for those who remember the post earlier this year, it was the transmissions internals that was the problem). Can elaborate more when I get it taken apart. Hoping to make it to the meet in Oct. I'll put in for vacation tomorrow when I get to work.

I so don't.
I know a few of the FL guys are planning on going, so we'll see what's up with that. The only reason I'd miss it is if I had to work, which right now I wouldn't mind, but even then, it's on a Saturday and is only an 8.5 hour drive-Caleb

There will be qutie a few FL. guys going. That was part of why Iwanted to meet some members before hand. I'm sure there will be an extra seat somewhere by then. I hopefully will have a full car, I'm trying to get the wife and kids to go. but I know some will be flying solo.Last edited by eurotiva; 08-13-2009, 09:32 PM.-Greg

Yeah, it'd be great to get a caravan going too. I don't think I'll have a festiva by October (or atleast not one that has an engine in it lol) as I have some license stuff I have to take care of first, but we shall see. More discussion at next meet methinks.-Caleb

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the very first Festiva Madness get together, but missed out on last year, and I heard it was a blast! Going to make sure I make it this year. Come on ladies -- let's make a good showing. If any of you from the north want a place to spend Friday night and then head on down to NC Saturday, I'm located at a good stopping point. I have plenty of floor space and it would be fun to have a Festiva convoy heading south! Just let me know.Pat
