well i found out a couple days ago that i am definitely coming up from central florida ... first festiva meet .. can't wait to see you all there

Here's an excerpt from page 21... The Google Map link helps visualize it.

The plan is to meet between 10:30 and 2:00 at the Poyner Place Shopping Center behind Triangle Town Center Mall to eat and talk and check out each others' rides for the afternoon. There are several food places there, Shane’s Rib Shack, Dominic’s NY Pizzeria, Bake House Bistro, and Cold Stone Creamery.

For mapping purposes, use 5811 Poyner Village Parkway, Raleigh, NC 27616. The location is ½ mile south of I-540 at exit 17 Triangle Town Blvd. When you get off the exit, you can only go south. Go through the stop light then turn left into the shopping center and make the first right onto Poyner Village Parkway to the end.

If your GPS unit allows you go enter LAT & LON coordinates directly, they are:
LAT = 35.863477, LON = -78.569769

In the unlikely event of rain, we have permission to use the (never used) parking deck on the other side of the restaurants, so don’t let the threat of rain keep you away.

Oh..I saw the covered parking deck and thought it changed. Start time still about the same time...I think 10am?

You're close Sparky, but we moved it this time to have room for all the bazillions of cars that will be there!

We're meeting behind the Triangle Towne Center in the parking lot near Shane's Ribs. The new location is about 1/2 mile behind K-Mart.

If you get to K-Mart via Capital Blvd, turn east onto Old Wake Forest Road. At the 2nd traffic lite, take a right onto Triangle Towne Blvd. Go about 1/4 mile to the T intersection. Take a left onto Sumner Road. Then take the 1st left into the parking lot which is Poyner Center Lane. That's where the meet will be held.

Meet officially runs from 10:30 am till 2:00 pm.

The meeting place address for Festiva Madness 3 will be the same as last year: 6200 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27616

The address is for the parking lot of the K-Mart which is convenient and easy to access from Interstate I-540 (only 1/2 mile).

I may be posting for no reason...but does anybody have details of exactly where it will be and when it will start and end? The thread is so long I can't find it!
