    not sure how to edit my other post...
    but i used 4 and 1/2 tanks... total of 1475 miles

    also: i got the spindle/drum in a bag.
    front pass tire is completly flat now. but leaked none the whole trip home.
    taking it to the shop who mounted my tires and getting a new valve stem

    Well yeah, that is unless you have a Citroën which could (and often did) get around on only 3 wheels!

    No idea who you would be talking about there.

    This all happened long after you guys pulled out. The local McParts place sent us the wrong crush nut, then the wrong bearings, and by the time we got everything apart and figured all this out, it was too late to get the right ones. But he got home, that's all that counts.

    P.S. I hope someone saved that old spindle, that'd be a good pic of fatal bearing/spindle failure.
