  • Festiva Madness 3rd Annual Meet Saturday Oct 3, 2009 in Raleigh, NC

We are currently planning the 3rd Annual Festiva Madness meet. Plan ahead to attend. All Festiva or Aspire owners that attend with their car will receive a free meet t-shirt again this year.

21 Festivas and 2 Aspires were at the 2008 meet.

We have received many e-mails and phone calls to do a 3rd meet, so 2009 could be even bigger.

Search the forum under Meets and Events for 2007 and 2008 Festiva Madness meet photos and comments from attendees. Photo Gallery also has pictures posted from the 2008 meet.

More details will be posted as they become available, but put the date on your calendar now and plan to attend.

Anyone with comments or suggestions for the next meet, leave a post or email me.

As the other co-madman in this thing, I share Dean's enthusiasm for and anticipation of the 3rd Annual Festiva Madness meet in Oct 2009! Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to miss this year's meet #2, but I know Dean and Barbara went "above & beyond" to pull together a great gathering for everyone. We've heard from so many of you how much you enjoyed it and that you'd love to come back, or would like to attend for the first time. That's precisely why we decided on a firm date now, almost a year in advance, so we could all make plans and preparations for next year's event. With all the Festiva-related projects, tweaks and upgrades we all want to do to our beloved rides, it looks like it's going to be a busy year indeed. I got so much inspiration from seeing the pics & vids of everyone's cars that I just can't wait to get rolling on my own project for the 2009 meet!

Everbody tells me that Meet #2's "Strip-Tiva" event was over the top! We'd like to make Meet #3 even better, so please do send us some of your ideas. We've been doing some brainstorming ourselves, but it's much too early to "set in stone" anything regarding activities.

I'm putting in my request now for vacation time next Oct around Meet #3. I don't intend to miss this one! Festiva Madness 3... A little bit crazy... A whole lot of fun!

553 mi – about 8 hours 44 mins each way. (hooray Google maps)

I will make it a priority to make sure my Festiva is not only drivable but able to handle 1200 or so miles by then.

Great to hear you will come.

A few of us this year made the trip to Ohiostiva in the spring. We did a little over 1500 miles round trip.

As soon as a date is set for the next Ohiostiva a number of us Festiva Madness members will be headed up.

The convoy was a lot of fun.

Maybe some others could meet up with you on the way here. FL, GA, SC etc.

You can also crash here at the house to save some money. Just bring a sleeping bag and if you don't mind a couple cats trying to sleep with you.

That sounds really great, I hadn't thought of meeting up with people along the way.

I love cats! (but not in a creepy way). LOL

It would be nice if some people were able to stay the night, I would hate to drive nearly 600 miles both ways for only a few hours with everyone.
