I would definitely reserve a spot. I only had a spot booked for the Friday night and we ended up in an overflow campsite (a parking lot!) on the Saturday. Mount Kidd (http://www.mountkiddrv.com/) is the closest but there are a couple of other options that aren't too far away.
These are only about a 30-40 minute drive at most from Wedge Pond.
As for hotels the closest are located in Kananaskis Village, not far from Wedge Pond.
Can we get more people out than Ohiostiva!?! Let's give it a shot!:toothy7:Ian
