    Hi all,

Here's what I have in mind for the July 18 get together at Wedge Pond in Kananaskis Country.

Here's a photo of the pond....

    - Meet at Wedge Pond from 11-1 and have a picnic lunch together
    - After lunch head up to Upper Kananaskis Lake in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. It's about a 40 minute drive up there and there's an ice cream shop at Boulton Creek. After that we can head back to Wedge Pond and hang out for a bit.

Here's the link for the calendar page: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/ca...=2009-7-18&c=1

and you can check out this thread for more information: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=17866

Maybe we should restart the potential attendees list over in this thread so here goes:

    1. Fastivaca (Ian along with Sharon and three of the kids) from Calgary
    2. leapin (Scott and Erin in Mazda3)
    3. sasquatch (mike and ZIPPY )
    4. Littlehoe (Brad, Rhonda, and 2 kids) Booked at bow valley campground
    5.

Just copy and paste the list into a reply and add your name to it if you can make it.

I'm going to contact the local papers and get it listed in their upcoming events bits soon.

    See you there

Ian, you know I would if I could. But things are getting real busy here at work right now. There is no way I could get free.

Only three weeks to go. I've got the event listed in both the Calgary newspapers so maybe there will be some interest generated there.

                        Scott,

I'll be heading down to Crowsnest Pass on the 8th leaving around 8:30 or 9:00 am. I could delay it a bit so that we could hook up.

Just got an e-mail from one of the local radio stations and they want to "...chat with you regarding your event to help promote it on our three stations in the Foothills..." I've also arranged to have the event listed in the automotive sections of Calgary's two major newspapers.

Its about a 10 hour drive for us too but we will be there... seems to be a hold up with production of my festiva though so I don;t know if I will have paint on her... all I do know is I will be there with a festiva come heck or high water... plus after that we are continuing on with the festiva on the trailer to Nanaimo for a couple days and then back through home...
