Possible Myrtle Beach SC meetup

I was thinking of organizing a weekend meetup around the beginning of Aug this year or next...
I can find group rates for a local oceanfront hotel, music park tickets, etc if I can get an idea of how many people would be interested.

I live ten minutes away next to Conway hospital off hwy 501. I work at the beach.

My dad's fiance has a holding in the Sea Mist which is the largest oceanfront hotel/motel with it's own water-park, seven pools, mini golf course, gym, convention centers, bowling alley, etc. I figured if enough were interested, we could start a type of combination meet/beach-vacation and I could organize group rates for the attractions and stay.

I can imagine multiple festys all cruising down ocean blvd with the windows down watching the bikinis, visiting broadway@thebeach, freestyle park, riding bikes at coastal commons, cooking out over at Brookgreen gardens next to the zoo, etc.

I could also finally convince my wife that I wasn't the only one who liked driving what she calls the clown car. Although lately she's been begging me to let her drive it due to her car's lousy gas mileage and handling.
I won't let her. It's weird but I'm scared she'd mess it up and I enjoy the Festy too much.

I have vacationed in MB so many times in the past! Right now I don't have the time to make it, but maybe if there is a get together next year I'd try.

Try to come up with a date. Right now it's a little short notice but I may be able to come down Friday then have to leave Saturday evening. How about setting a date for next year that way we can plan for the meet.

This year is probably out, but I'd love another trip to Myrtle Beach. Definitely be up for next year. Should even have the old girl back together and on the road by then.

Definitely making Ohio next year too.
