Its basically the same thing as the Rev It Up competition from 2003, but instead of only being able to drive the 6', you can drive the 3, rx8 and new miata. I think the miata is default & the other 3 are optional "test drive" sorta dealies.

Anyways, its basically a FREE autocross where you drive whatever the hell you want...park..and drive a BRAND NEW MX-5 MIATA around an autox course. best time wins. I think they are giving out free cars to the best contenders and other prizes and shit.

So you can't really go wrong...not only do you NOT have to worry about fucking up your car, it being slow/ghey/unreliable or whatever...but its FREE and you get to drive a brand new car that you dont' have to give a shit about fucking up!



Anyways, I registered for the DC one for Sunday the 13th at 2:30pm.

They'll probably do it again next year. I think they have been doing zoom zoom for a couple years now. A friend went to one in portland last year.


EDIT: Am I the only one who thinks mazda has a kickass promotional dept? Now if only more companies would follow suit.

I saw a red festiva leaving the parking lot & a yellow one entering it during the event but wasn't paying attn other than that.
