So, for about the same price as a fully-loaded 1993 Ford Festiva, you could also wield the power to obliterate a small village in the blink of an eye.
so ... how did the mini meet go? hopefully i will be able to make it to the next one ... i was just way too tired from not getting any sleep before spending the day at the beach yesterday and ended up getting burnt all to hell unfortunately lol ... but i am definately looking forward to going to the next one
All went well pronst4r, and Chills. Caleb and Chris made it out. Both got a test ride in euro. Hope they liked it. And both got a free festiva part. Nice meeting you guys and do look forward to meeting more of all ya'll. Thanks for the keychain Chris!!

I'd definitely like to see more Festiva enthusiasts come out. It was a blast laughing at all the ricers and watching them crowd around Greg's (Eurotiva) car and not even pay attention to much anything else. More people stopped and looked at the turbo festiva over the course of the night than the SVO and I was surprised no one was checking out that red supra.
The only bad part about the night was that we overheated in the Probe as we were pulling into the parking lot, so the ride home involved a lot of limping and diagnosis. I've narrowed it down to a bad belt, bad t.stat and there was air in the system. I think the initial cause was that he seems to have a really slow oil leak somewhere (I couldn't find it last night, I think valve cover) and that caused the car to rely on just the cooling system. He's gonna go get a belt and a t.stat and I'm gonna install them for him. I'll then flush the cooling system and refill it with probably clean water and some water wetter (since that's what I've always run in my cars in the summer with better results) and change the oil and filter and it should be good to go.
But other than that, it was GREAT!!!
