    LIVE!!! Shuttle is about to lauch!!

    We can see it from our front yard but here is a link for the rest of you guys. Lauches in 15 min. or so. It's a live stream

      i tried to watch it but my work wont let me. how dare i want something interesting.

                        Launch scrubbed again!
                        Due potentially, to a valve failure.
                        LOX drain valve.
                        Valve is part of launch criteria and such can not be over-ridden by mission commanders so launch had to be scrubbed.

                            ^lol ...it 's cool because where i work i get a call when they scrub the launch. it holds up our shipments of liquid nitrogen.They have hundreds of trucks sitting waiting to fill that thing.

                              Liquid N2?

                              Do they use it to condense O2 out of the atmosphere for fueling it?
                              Because the shuttle main engines are liquid H2 and O2.
                              Liquid H2 is supplied by barge.
