2010 meets, where and date?

There were a good number of Festiva meets in 2009.

Will all that plan to host a meet in 2010 please give a idea of a location and date?

Maybe this way a conflict of meet dates can be avoided.

So... I have a real dumbly question... why isn't there a calendar of meets, like there's a calendar of birthdays? Or perhaps planned meets could be put ON the calendar of birthdays?

This is just to get folks more into thinking about meets when and where

I did place Madness 3 on the Calendar.

Not sure if I did place Madness 4 yet?

What I hope will come from this thread is to get folks started thinking about dates and locations.

Not to have two major meets going on on the same weekend and then members having to pick one or the other to attend.

Have it all on one thread so anyone thinking about doing a meet can see what some others are maybe planning.

Maybe with a thread like this more folks will plan to attend several meets.

Each meet once decided on a date and location should still have it's own meet thread.

Just looked back at some past meets and came up with the below list.
Thinking most of these will be held again in 2010.
I am sure there are others that I missed.
Maybe someone will add them.

Atlanta Meet
Westiva
4thTiva Meet
Ohiostiva
Festiva Madness
St. Louis Meet
Ozark Meet

Need dates and locations for these in 2010.
The sooner the better so vacation leave can be requested.

Let's not forget that Florida will be doing a meet in 2010.

Called 1st Annual "Sunshine" meet

After that 7 car convoy to Madness, we just have to get a group to convoy down

Let's justt hope they set a date soon.

Well here are the Illinois/Iowa crews meets:

3rd annual Freeze your balljoints off january 17th in decatur, Il
3rd annual DJ memorial in the Ozark meet 25th april(last weekend in april) ozark, Mo
4th annual St. Louis meet 1st weekend in nov(the 6th) st, louis, Il

I think we have had one in chicago in march for the past few years also

Maybe we could remove all comments including this one I am writting so that this thread is a condensed 1 page sticky with all of the meets and dates listed, perhapes a moderator could lock it and you would have to contact him/her to add a event to the list? That way people are not complaining about searching through 10 pages of responses to find a date or meeting point? Or we could just add them all to the calendar :-P

First of the year that may be a option.

At that time have all the posted event dates and times along with contact for meets placed at the first page and thread locked.

A sticky for that would be great.

If you will check under the North Carolina Festiva owners list you will see where a copy and paste has been done.

For now lets do a copy and paste on the event meets when more are posted.


Just run with this and get the input from ones that wish to hold a meet.
