    • I was so glad that the turnout was a good one. Thank you everyone for coming from such distances. I know that some of you are used to LONG trips for meets, but I just want you to know that it was the highlight of my Spring. I hope to make this a yearly event, even if it is just a couple cars meeting at the Krystal! We sure turned some heads, even with the select few cars we had. I AM SO SUNBURNT. That's cool, I'll be ready next time! Lots of planning going into next year's meet. (I'd love to find a parking lot for time trials!) I'd like to make it an overnight stay, honestly. With more to do and less traffic, things could be really fun. Glad to meet and re-meet (haha) everyone. There are pics! Ladyblaster and her super-dash-cam are sure to provide some shots of the cars and I hope, a crazy local who got all excited about a lineup of Festies and started yelling "Go Ford Festivas!" I'm eager to see Mr. Bebandit's visual recollection as well.

        Any way I had a great time seeing all the Festivas and the mods done to them and really the best part was meeting the other members that were there . Hopefully I will have one of my Festivas at a future meet.
        Really cool that you did this. Props to you!

            • Great get together y'all! It was nice hanging out with everyone and making some new friends!

              Barb - Your wonderful reputation that preceded you was an understatement. It was great to hang out and chat and get to know you after all the great things others have said about you.

              Also, I apologize to everyone for my showing up late...but I promise I was getting there as fast as I could :mrgreen:

                Zanzer, it was great meeting you too. We'll be seeing each other again soon, I'm sure.
                DriverOne, thanks for a great time. Glad to see you again and meet your lovely wife.

                  • I finally got a taste of what it was like to experience Festiva Madness Lite. Half the cars, twice the calories. Uh, something like that... I was speaking with a friend of mine two nights ago (so I would've posted this sooner, if it weren't for some strange rift in the space-time continuum) and he told me it should be called the FestivaL. I love it! So, here goes the annual planning! A few quick questions;

                    1. Due to the intense traffic in the area, and considering the fact that the Krystal we ate at is the ONLY one for several (hundred) miles, should we make it a point to eat there again?

                    2. Some members (Thank you, Barb!) drove several hours to the meet. I feel like if there had been a place to stay overnight, maybe most of us would have?

                    3. Anyone have any other input? Sparky, I know... Hehehe.
