Do you really need the lifters replaced or will a flushing with Seafoam, or the like, in the oil hold you over?

^^I totally agree with Pu241. It doesn't matter what you drive. In fact, I'm sure you could probably hitch a ride with someone if you didn't want to drive. I'm hoping to be able to convoy down. Haven't added my name because still not sure if I can make it, but the meet just won't be the same without you guys there!

Same here! With all the people coming down there should be plenty of room to hitch rides. I may have a spare seat myself!

I have a brand new (still has the sticker on it) carbie alternator, I'll gladly give it up. I can send it back with somebody.
