I won't be able to get much else into my car...nor will I have the budget for parts, but I think I can handle 2 bucks...unless they're ooober cool. As I'll be picking up two more 250's like mine idk how I'll get them into the festy but they're going in undoubtedly! lol
Does anyone have an extra wheel bolt wrench that they could bring to Ohiostiva? I bent mine pretty bad today trying to take a tire off :O .... Why do tire shops use impact wrenches to put tires on a Festiva!!?? I'm going to take it to the shop tomorrow and hopefully they can get it off without breaking it.

i like 1/2 breakers with a 9/16 socket.. 5 point i think is the best socket to use

yeah, it's one thing when they get to use an impact to take them off but it's still too tight regardless. I can't believe you bent the bar getting those off...
6 point maybe? 5 point fasteners are for public utilities.
nice catch!
I always carry a lug/bolt socket (6 point) and a hydraulic floor jack with me. I've always had one just in case, but *knock on wood* I've never had to use one to get me home.

can you take it back to the shop and have them loosen them up and then you tighten them? I can bring one I got with the aspire but I wouldn't want you to bend that one too...

Don't have an issue with using an impact wrench to tighten the lug bolts/nuts, but most places don't bother using a torque stick so they don't over tighten them.
You should take it back to the idiots who over torqued them and see if they use a torque stick at all, or the correct torque stick.
