  • treasure hunting anyone??

    hey guys and gals i figure i would ask if anyone in the eastern panhandle area of wv, md, south pa, north va would wanna meet up and go to some local junkyards around here?? i know of one that is BIG and has a quite of bit of festys/aspires, escorts, alot of mazdas that could have parts that could be used. maybe even a little festy meet?? lemme know what yall think and maybe we can get a date set in the near future.

    i'm subscribing to your thread here. just keep me updated I may be able to make a trip up just to hang out. i had a blast with the guys in Raleigh at the JY and I was in my nice pair of jeans and polo and not looking to get dirty in that. but again, I had a blast.

        i'm going to ct in the next couple of days off to look at a junkyard that might have a festiva when i bought my car it came with this note book full of things so far pathching up what they are the last owner was a young person it also says he was the 2nd owner so makes me number 3 ? but yeah i guess 126,000 seems right he wrote a note in this book pandolfe's used auto parts berlin ct has a used white ford festiva with some usable parts i'm gona look into it will i let u know what i turn up with its a 3 hr drive but worth it if i can find something useful there also alot of stuff tht he replaced parts in the car and what seems to be the issue or what he thinks is the issue got a note dating back to 2005 "went to work today came back and the shift rail snapped off some how i drove home in 3rd gear and blew the clutch " interesting info to know at least it tells what the car had been through

                            Actually, any afternoon next week except Friday works for me. I'm definitely always up for some junkyarding. I might just make the rest of you sign a waiver, so if we run across any wildlife, and someone gets hurt, no one sues me.:p
