Chuck, why don't you head down here to Lincoln sometime this summer? We have the Hot Rod Super-Nationals again this year on Memorial weekend, or, the SCCA Solo II Nationals will be here in September. We may be able to get some others as well.

Packrat has been to every meet I have been to. Musclecar, Festiva Chick, and Ogrestiva have been to every Meet I have been to. Ozark twice, Iowa, St. Louis, Chicago, Ohiostiva. FestivaWes has been to the Ozark Meet and Freshtiva has been to St. Louis. And the Illini guy and gals have been to a ton of meets that I have been unable to attend.

And one addition to this, we show no records that you even attended the get together in your own damn city last year! Please, correct me if I'm wrong on any of these. Again, I'll wait.

I'm working on more cost effective lodging today. Sounds like the best prices may be in Dubuque Iowa, which is only 10 miles away, at a savings of $100 on hotel. Be back later with more info.

                    P.S.
Galena is an antiqueing town fyi.

                    P.S.S.
I just want to take the drive along the Mississippi River, which I hear is beautiful. Other than that, anybody find something else to do, I'm game. So, research.

Freshtiva attended "fun in the corn state meet" at my house last year. Sorry my lil' hillbilly buddy, not meaning to short change your appearances.

                          UPDATE:

For those of you attending the Galena Meet. I found a motel in Dubuque Iowa, which is only 10 miles away, for $67.99 per nite for 2 ppl. It is the Days Inn, HWY 20 at the Hill Street/Bryant Street exit. Tell them you have a coupon and I will bring extras for those in need. To reserve a room, call 563-583-3297. If I were going to do that on the cheap, I would tell them you are only one person, pile 4-5 ppl in there and split the cost. Around $15 each per night.........I mean hypothetically I would do that ;P
Check-in is 2pm on Friday, so Laura and I plan on getting there early and begin organizing some things to do.

Also, I talked to the reservationist, and he said HWY 52 is the stretch of road to go cruising on and they have maps at the motel. Other than that, we can go antiqueing, cow tipping, cheese curd tasting or do whatever.
