KC Festiva/Aspire meet Oct 9th

So is everybody getting ready for it? I have to go get a new rim next week. Hopefully the yard will have a metro with 13's left. Man I sure hope the new rim stops the shaking.. after 5k miles my brain has been rattled enough. Liked to get them painted as well but to many house projects! Have to get those done so I can bring up the 86 F150 and start working on it.

Oh and for the first time I got a little over 35mpg! Aired up the tires and changed the timing a bit.. and course haven't used the ac as much.

I'm getting pumped up about the meet.

It's motivated me to do a bunch of work to the Festiva. I put Aspire struts and springs all the way around, press-in studs in the rear drums....I have the Capri 14" rims on back...now I need to find some matching tires for the front, I'll be all set!

Oh, yeah...I'm putting a factory rear 'spoiler' on the hatch.

Sorry, as it is when we're in the Lou everything seems tightly scheduled, Not sure I could make it then either.   I'd love to attend one, but I'm weekend booked for about a month. We're thinking about moving to Kc in the next two years, need to get over there and do some exploring, leaning toward downtown or northwest area.
Not totally sure though as the only time I've been there was passing through

I'll for sure be there with my 93 my 91L is the second car I was gonna bring but that won't happen unless I can get a clutch cable for it and I just picked up a super clean 91GL that I would love to bring but it doesn't run at the moment but I'm still coming with a festy any ideas on what to do yet?

If anyone with an aspire swap needs a decent set of aluminum wheels I just ended up with a set of 13 inch Honda aluminum wheels let me know and I can bring them to this meet
