OK, I've been asked by a number of people who want to join a convoy down to FMIV.
So far I know of the following tentatively:
I and Genevadirt will be headed down to Raleigh, NC Wed afternoon (Sept 29th)
Safety Guy will start his journey on Thursday(Sept 30) with a layover in WV somewhere and arrival on Friday(Oct 1st)
Another member near Cleveland has a wedding to attend Friday evening, so will make the journey an all nighter, if he doesn't have to work.
Stevadiva and another non-member are starting Friday afternoon for the short 3 hr trip.
Contact any of these people to coordinated a convoy.
Those people in the Midwest you all have a long drive try and get together and run in groups.
This is the place to post your launch times and flight paths so that others can join you.
For everyone in a convoy, exchange cell numbers and if you have them two way radios bring them as they are useful as well.
Remember to bring spares alt/dis/bearings/ etc
Everyone have a safe trip to and from.
