Considering all the folks who will arrive early, it might be good to have a "pre-meet" for them so we'll have half-a-dozen or more "group leaders" who know the route from the mall site to Barbara's house. That way we can move out confidently in smaller groups of 6 to 10, which will find it easier to keep together.

That won't hurt a mass photo op of all us leaving the mall though. Anyone wanting a long line of Festivas will have what they want then.

I've asked this in another thread so I'll ask again here......Is there an FM5 planning thread yet?? Seems like in years past a thread for the next meet was started the day after the previous one ended!

A convoy across the south in festivas would be epic. My life would be complete and my number 1 thing to do before I die would be finished!! Would love it if we could join ya. When you figure a time give me a call. MAX @ 605-366-5043.

The convoys to and from the meet are always epic! The stories are brought right back up at the next meet. A 30 mile drive? Maybe a good ol' romp around the bypass? My wife and I will be at the Outer Banks and will be driving down to FM5 Friday morning. I'd love to convoy up with the Southern Convoy coming out of the Deep South, but my wife and I both need an EXTENDED vacation! Can you say 10 years without one?!

Well if you are going to be in OBX, you are in my back yard. You can always join us on the way down. You won't even need GPS, my cars all know the way.

                                Ian,
You left out either Nebraska or South Dakota.

I think I remember buying a right side mirror from you several years ago (communicated via the Yahoo Festiva Group). It's still on Blue Beast.
Hope you can make it to Madness in October. Lot of people
would love to meet you in person and you would be sure to win the
prize for traveling the longest distance.
