140 days to go and I'm getting excited already:blob2:

Just a heads up for anyone looking to camp at Mount Kidd RV Park. They've changed the reservation policy and procedure. Reservations can only be made 90 days in advance so mark April 16th or 17th on your calendars. This campground books up fast so be sure to reserve as soon as you can.

Reservations for the Bow Valley campground opened up earlier this week.

Numbers are looking good too. I'll start a "who's coming to Westiva" thread a little later on. We had ten cars last year and I'm hoping for 15-20 or even more this year.

Maybe I can tag along with Scott and Mike, sounds like a blast! Can't say 100% I'll be there, but I'll do my best!

Edit: Marked on my calender! My days off work are actually Wednesday and Thursday, so maybe I'll take a whole week of and bomb around while I'm heading out anyways!

Now, just got to get me a running Festiva...

Meet at Wedge Pond from 10am-1pm and having a picnic lunch.

After that there's a 20 mile cruise from the pond up to the Boulton Creek Store for ice cream (the kids large and small loved this part in the past) and from there to Upper Kananaskis Lake.

Some stopped back at Wedge Pond on the return trip and hung around for a bit.

^ that sucks lets hope you win the GRMC

i just thought of an idea, we should keep all our gas receipts and track the mileage and see who gets the best mpg... (i say this cause its an award that i know i cant win lol...) i dont know what the prize could be, but ill try to think of something...

That's a great idea! I say this because it's something I believe I can do very well at. hehe
If it's for mpg on the way to Westiva, that'd be cool. I've gotta be able to let loose one way!

                        Mikeycar for GMRC champ!

I'm going to be trying to find some "goodies" to give away again this year. I had a couple of Rock Auto gift cards last year that we gave away for "crowd favorite" and "long distance".

I'll be starting on this in earnest in the next few weeks.

Does "long distance" count if you take "scenic route" to get there? haha

Thanks, it will probably be looking more like a "rat rod" at Westiva as I hope to get started on some body work this spring, mostly rust repair. Don't know if I'll have decent wheels on it either as I'm in the process of doing the Aspire brake swap.

"Scenic route" mileage doesn't count. Last year it was pretty clear cut as mikeycar500 came out from Ontario.
