Westiva 2011

Well I am a little torn, I wanted a power and water site so I could wash the car before the meet but it appears as though that isn't going to be an option again. Last year it was bottled water, spot cleaner, and microfiber towels....lol..I guess I will be going that way again.

Did anyone else get a site in Mount Kidd yet?

Oh ya and whats up for friday night, is there street legal drags in Calgary or anything else?

Ok guys I am booked in, Arrival date is Friday the 15th... lol... I booked myself into Mount Kidd RV Loop F site 8 so I should be just across from you Ian...I still don't know if my dad will be making the trip out or not but if others need a place to stay I would be willing to share the spot and costs again...

Approximately 2164 hours until check-in and I can't wait...

Oh ya and there were only 1 power site left and about 25 of the no services sites by Ian and I left.... Just FYI

49 days to go... and counting

For those looking to camp at Mount Kidd RV Park I would book your site very soon. As of today, May 28, there are only 5 sites left in the entire campground for that weekend. There are only 2 sites left at the Bow Valley campground.

Work on my Festiva has been put on the back burner for a while so that I can get the loose ends of our renovation finished. Hopefully there will be time to get some rust repairs completed before July 16th!

I'm also going to make up some invitation cards to pass out to other Festiva owners I may come across.

Things haven't been working out as planned and unless I get the B6T car done, I won't have a Festiva to bring. There's no way I'm gonna have it done. I'm real bummed out.

What are the normal activities at Westiva weekends?

I will have 3 other cars that are not Festivas tagging along. I think there will be a Rsx, miata turbo, and a sr20 bmw.

I'm thinking I'm gonna come just for the heck of it though I'll probably just bring my Accord. Besides, I've got some interactions for this meet.

oh wow.... i never seen pics of last years meet. and i just noticed i had a invite in my inbox today..... wish i had planned better but i start work on the 8th and i'm gone for 8wks.... so somebody better get lots of pics.... with engine pics as well... i love fab work.

June 14 update... 32 days to go

I just checked the availability of campsites at Mount Kidd and there are still a five sites left close to where littlehoe and I are booked in. Didn't check the other sites but I imagine they're full or close to it as well.

Starting to put together a game plan for promoting the event locally.

This is hardly looking feasible to me anymore. I'm having trouble with my Accord. I'm hoping that someone more local to me may be able to pick something up for me.

Turns out my wife will be having sinus surgery the week of Westiva, so we will not be able to attend this year (most likely).
