    Festlahoma 2011 is a GO!!! July 2nd, Stillwater Oklahoma....

    Sorta short notice, and the holiday, but its on now.

    We'll meet in Stillwater Saturday morning, at (location to be determined) at (time to be determined) o'clock. As of right now, the thought is to eat either breakfast or brunch. After which, if it can be arranged, a tour of Kicker in Stillwater. Whether or not that comes through, we do have a tour of Rick Kirk's collection of Ford memorabilia in Ripley, OK.

    We may go eat dinner after that. Hopefully several from the area can come. More details will follow, so this top post will be edited with the latest updates. This thread would also be a good one to post needs or wants so that we can do some trading if desired.

    I'll also keep this top post up to date on planned attendees.

        i shoulda specified, i have one, it just wont be at the show, its missing the engine and trans...but would be happy to take another home...or parts

                Kinda wondering who is coming and from how far. If the guy from Altus or Lawton comes, maybe a little later in the morning. The guy from Enid can't make it. I'm sorta thinking maybe 9 am. You guys have Jimmy's Egg up there?

                  It's just a straight B6 swap I have the one out of the donor car with fresh gaskets installed just waiting on a couple of parts that I had to have shipped and then pull mine and install the new one if my parts get here I hope to have it done by next weekend hopefully

                    i think we have a wedding to go to that weekend, i'll have to check the exact time... would it be an all day thing?

                          Festfull, are there any camping sites out at Sooner Lake in case someone is coming from further away? I wouldn't think people coming in for the 4th would be tenting that early. Or, could someone tent in your yard?

                              People have told me there were camping spots and I don't see why there wouldn't be. I might check that out and report back.

                              If someone wanted they would be more than welcome to camp in the lawn. It's not a huge space but has some nice big trees that keep things cool.
