We hit the road at 6:00am Sept 23rd. I've started a blog here that I'll keep updated every day or two depending on time and hotel internet!

Hopefully we don't need it, but Lucky is ready! Two new front tires, tow bar and lights, jumper cables, tools and other rescue gear are loaded and on the way back to raleigh with me today. I also have torches and a mig welder there this year prepaired to repair a damaged Festiva in the event of an accident in route. We are well on our way... posting from Erlanger KY, just outside Cincinnati. We've done 32 hours of driving so far, 2000 miles. Only driving a couple of hours tomorrow. More details in the blog.
