Yup, record tire swap! The rest of the ride was uneventful besides a traffic jam. And for your enjoyment:

Made it home about 20 minutes ago. Many thanks to Barb, Angie, Jay, and everyone on the committee who make this possible. It was great getting together with old friends, meeting some new ones, and matching a face to a name with many I've interacted with on here for a long time. It was a total blast and I'm already looking forward to the next one
I'm also happy to report that the drive home was ticketless

Which way did you take home? We took the toll way. Only had one toll but my gps took us a crazy way but saved me 1.5 hrs of driving and only cost 2$ toll.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well i had 2 (almost 3) flat tires WHOO HOO..... after i dropped Amanda off, i got gas and getting back on the hgihway going down the on ramp, the van in front of me swerved to avoid an exhaust pipe laying in the middle of the road
Needless to say, i had no time to swerve, hit it dead on, broke the cords in my front tire, bent the rim a bit and put a nice hole in the side of the rear tire that i had just got from Jay/Barb
So the spare tire went back on the rear and the front tire was still holding air but has a nice bulge in it, but it got me home..... i still drove a bit slower to put as little stress on the front tire as possible because if that tire would have blew, i would have been stranded with no more spare
I'll get pics up in a bit of my collection of bad tires lolLast edited by Damkid; 10-03-2011, 02:17 PM.

Just got home. I had to deal with bad gasoline again--I filled up at two stations in east Tennessee, east of Knoxville. Once coming to FM5, once returning home. STP Water Remover (yellow bottle) didn't take care of it this time--after driving for four gallons, I filled up again and used STP Gas Treatment (red bottle). That did it.
BTW, for those who knew of my little issue with surging, starting Saturday night, I discovered early in the trip home that my O2 sensor wire had broken at the harness connector. Five-minute fix and it was good again.
Edit: Damkid, that is amazing! How often does anyone get a blowout?!
