    Anything ever happen in Puget Sound?

    I see Festivas on the road from time to time here; and one time parked alongside Fourth Avenue in downtown Olympia walking along the side walk in '08 that spring, heard a youth commenting about my car "that's a 'good' Festiva and I know Festivas!" which I'm still not sure was a proprietary statement of his or not?

    I had a fridge on the roof-rack, and three sheets of plywood, stopping traveling in my move from Eureka, CA to Bellingham, WA here; to listen to my friend Bert Wilson's band Rebirth play, a world famous underground jazz legend who was in Ben Moore's Restaurant that night on Fourth.

    I hate having to feel like a charitable institution, simply because I'm a loner, don't have any place decent to work on my car, and hate chores anyway due to problems ramifications of spinal diseases early in life; which characteristically a conservative medical establishment enjoys seeing me suffer...rather than doing anything to cure atrophied back musculature, I've proven decades ago is quite feasible.

      Display it proudly, man! I see some rotted festys by me from time to time. Hell, I even spotted a nice straight blue one last week. I'm pretty much alone, though. I love it!

        I & my '88 carbureted 4sp. manual were touring on a back road near Fall City, when we both saw a red Festiva parked up in a driveway. As I drove past the house, I glanced back & saw other blue Festivas in that driveway. Curious, I turned around & went up the driveway. Meeting Randy a young man, he had FIVE Festivas in various stages of repair. Another yellow one with a broad racing stripe was in the barn. He was very friendly, loved to talk about his Festivas & we took his 5speed for a drive. I fell in love with the 5sp. & want one to replace my 4sp. They took my 4 speed for a drive & we had a good time.

        I can't volunteer his place, but it would be a nice central place for a Festiva Meet. Maybe the large parking area along the Snoqualmie River, right in downtown Fall City would be a more 'findable' place to meet. A Festiva Tour could be mounted for a drive to Snoqualmie Falls, a 250 foot spectacular water falls about 5(?) miles away. About 4 miles away, I know a place for an awesome verticle view of Mt. Si, which rises very very steeply from the valley. I have many binoculars for Festiva Meeters to look for mountain goats on the mountain & see all the varied aspects of Mount Si. The towns of Snoqualmie Falls & North Bend are close, which were the settings for the TV series, Twin Peaks. The fictional Twin Peaks was the name for Mount Si, altho Mount Si has many more peaks than two.

            Man, my wife and I would LOVE to go to a Festiva meet there. Please set it up for summer! We'll do our best to make time! We live in SC. It would be epic!

              Went to a gathering of Dodge Caliber owners, years ago. Three people showed up in Enumclaw, in close view of Mt. Rainier, if the clouds hadn't been covering Mt. Rainier. ha ha ha
              Tho we had an alright time, it would have been better to have more owners show up. We'll need more than 3 Festiva owners.

              Besides Snoqualmie Falls, & Mt. Si, there's a good Chinese restraurant in Snoqualmie Falls & other eateries. Also, there is a cafe in North Bend that considers themselves the cafe that was in the tv series Twin Peaks. we could Festiva caravan, going north through farmland & the Snoqualmie River valley & get some farm goods at the Beringer Farms. Later, after passing through the town of Carnation, we could see the elegant lovely Carnation Farms.

              I'm not much of an organizer, but we'll see. As for DriverOne, the best time for the Meet would be middle of July or later..... its raining otherwise.

                For anyone confused by my description, I need to say that Mt. Si is about 4 miles BEYOND Snoqualmie Falls from Fall City. It would be very roughly 10 miles from Fall City to the close up view of Mt. Si.

                The reason I mention Fall City, & not Snoqualmie Falls or Mt. Si for a Festiva Meet, is that it is fairly close to Randy's place & his 5 or 6 Festivas, if it would be acceptable to him for lots(?) of other Festiva owners to goggle at his bevy of Festiva riches.

                    Sounds like California, Oregon, Washington & western Canada Festiva owners have been posting earlier than this thread on the Regional Northwest forum for a Festiva Meet in (Northern?) California. Would Festiva owners on this thread be more attracted to an even bigger Festiva Meet than this thread might generate or could accommodate in Fall City?

                      A Washington meet would be cool and easier for us Canucks, but I would still like to eventually get to Cali for a meet.
