Hey everyone,
I wont be coming this year......My wife and I were starting our Vacation in Ocean Shores, WA on Wednesday (July 4) when we received a call regarding an emergency with my wife's sister. It is a very sensitive issue, and there isnt much I can share regarding the specifics, but it was very serious. We ended up having to come right home from vacation and help deal with this situation, and will still be dealing with it over the next while..............

Putting packages together with some goodies from Interstate Batteries and Rockauto.
Weather is looking good... sunny with a forecast high of 27°C (81°F) with a slight chance of a late afternoon thunder storm.
Hoping to be pleasantly surprised with the turnout. Invitations were posted on the Aspire, Teamswift and Geo Metro forums, advertised on Craigslist and Kijiji, posted it on the 'Car Shows Alberta' and Festiva FTW Facebook pages and it's been listed in both the major local papers' upcoming events listings the last couple of weeks. Oh, and it's also listed in Rockauto's July newsletter and on the Yahoo group.
Regardless of how many show up there will be pictures posted within a day or so!

Gotta tell you. I felt left out. I should have brought my wheelchair so I'd have something to park andtalk about. ;-P
Had a great visit with you guys today. Really makes me wish I was a car guy all over again, except for the part where I bought a Pacer. I seemed like a good idea at the time. Thanks again and everyone please get home safe.
Also if anyone's around Calgary, my RC club, Karz is running on July 21 at 4:00pm at the Huntington Hills Community Centre. We've decided it's going to be ab oval instead of a road course that evening, so carnage will reign! stop by if you can. We'll get you addicted to cars a few sizes smaller. Website is karz.ca
