I say we try to leave by 12 at the latest....gives us a little more time at Moraine. I like the cruise but I understand the people that want to just go straight there.

I'm trying hard to get the festiva done for the meet!

Less than 2.5 months to go!

We need to decide quickly if we are going to convoy to Moraine State Park so I can call in and reserve a pavilion. I'd like to do that next week.

I vote for having the convoy, as usual, leaving Summit by 12:30 pm so we get there before 2:00pm!

Time line:

Meet at Summit beginning around 10:30 or so (people get there as early as you want)

Leave Summit by 12:30 on convoy

Get to Moraine by 2:00pm and get cooking!

Those going straight to Moraine can get there as early as they want. Usually around noon or so. (I hear ya'll enjoy waiting for us.)

The meet usually runs to around 5 pm or so. Some folks leave earlier, some stay longer.

Raffle to defray expenses is held around 3:30 or 4 pm, IIRC. Swap meet anytime, etc. (except be low profile at Summit).

I plan on coming in the Aspire SE that I'm selling to Arty. If any IL or IN peeps are coming, can I get a ride back with them? I'll take the bus from Indy (for example) for the rest of the way to STL. If not, my backup plan is to fly from Akron or Pittsburgh to STL.

If I make it, your more than welcome to ride back.

I know I can get time off from work because I'll be bringing my boss along for the ride and his parents live 2 miles from Summit so I've got a place to stay :mrgreen:
