Firebase Area 241 has a limited number of beds and couches so best to bring sleeping blanket and pillows!
Plenty of floor space some carpeted some not.
Same for towels, Firebase is not occupied by a full time staff very often, so please bring a towel for yourself.
We have a fully functioning Central AC if needed, refrigerator for food/beverages(adult and otherwise) and ice.
Grill is available.
Oven and stove can be accessed as well.
Newly retiled shower facilities, thus the towel request.
Internet capacity will be somewhat limited unless you have a external usb antenna to login to an open WIFI signal.
Several of which are available!
I might have an alternative as well.
Parking will be tight but we have managed 10+ festivas in this same area!
Best for us to have food and beverages brought in because it is a PITA to make the trip down the mountain.
That said though, Papa John's does deliver pizza or we can make a food and beverage run when we are out and about or on our way back from the park!
Everyone who is attending please send me a PM so I can get an idea of how many will be arriving.
Also for those who have not been here I'll give you GPS data and my cell phone, because even with GPS you will need guided/talked in!
For those who wish to camp, there is limited flat area near the house and sloped area on the hill behind the house.
Lastly if EVERYONE refuels before arriving, the launch to the park the next morning, about 90 miles, will be much less chaotic!
