  • So here's a cool meet idea...

Every fall/ late summer the city of Wyoming does a car show type deal called the metro cruise. (Thank god no metros ever show up...) It started as a classic restored car thing, but pretty much evolved into a "bring any cool/ unique/ rare/ modified car" show. It runs a full weekend, usually friday-sunday. I'll check on dates but is this anything anyone would be interested in attending? Some festys would be a nice addition to the mix. My mom probably wouldn't let anyone stay with us, (she's the really parinoid "if they're from the internet they're a serial killer" type) but theres lots of fairly priced motels nearby. We could grill some burgers and work on each other's cars, and I'd be happy to do some sheetmetal welding if anyone has rust. (sheets are $10 or less locally)

Who knows, we could hit up the 'yard and grab some BP's too. Whatever you guys want to do. The "cruise" runs about 5 city blocks, and theres large parking lots for showing off swaps and mods.

    Thoughts?

you all are light weights.... I started with Count Chocula, then Frankenberry was next ( he never saw it coming), Booberry went down easy, Captain Crunch tried to sail away but a milk tidal wave stopped him in his tracks. The toughest ones so far have been Snap, Crackle and Pop....but once I got them separated they lost their will to live. Next I am going big game hunting...look out Tony....I am coming for you.

I will have to see how much PTO I have closer to then. I will admit my car is no show car, but I do get quite a few compliments! Only one random person has ever hated on it. They then followed saying I wouldn't drive it with "I'll just keep my Mercedes." To which I replied "You can keep your Mercedes, wouldn't even trade you straight up." He then went away, lol.

                          Either way I will try!
