  • Michigan Meet

Hi guys! I am pretty sure this is the place to put this, if not then it can be moved. This isn't strictly Festiva related but I wanted to invite anyone on here as well.

Anyways, along with owning a Festiva I also have a Probe GT as my dd and I have managed to get permission to have a Probe meet at Ford World HQ in Dearborn MI ( AKA the Glass House ). I don't have a date yet but it will be a weekend in AUG.

Along with having the Probe guys there I wanted to extend an invite to the Festiva owners on this awesome forum ( Not just MI owners, anyone who can make it is more than welcome to come! ). I will update this with a date as soon as I get one set in stone.

There already is one this summer. Scroll down to "So here's a cool meet idea..." thread. You are welcome to come to that if you want.

Multiple MI meets would be nice though...

I saw your post a while ago. Its a bit far for me, especially in the festy (as its in parts still lol). This meet is primarily a probe meet, but I wanted to open it up to more people if they so choose to come. Thanks for the heads up though. If possible I may try and come out in the probe but I can't guarantee anything.

        **UPDATE**

Ok, here it is. The meet will be on Sept 1st (Sat) at 11AM ( I figured this would be a decent time to start.) at Ford World HQ. If you want bring stuff to drink or eat, I will be bringing a cooler with stuff to drink and eat if anyone wants it. Also, dont forget chairs and possibly sunscreen.

The Place: Ford Motor Company World Headquarters, 1 American Rd, Dearborn, MI 48126

        The time: 11:00AM

Here are some exact coords if you have a smartphone (most likely).

        Ford HQ: 42.313663 -83.210161

I really want this to be good, as I would love to try and setup something even bigger for next year.

That would be awesome if you could come. I would love to get as many Festy's and Probes as possible.

That should be enough time for me to have my Festiva ready

              1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
              1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

HAHA. If my festy was done I would definitely come to your meet. I am actually working on getting the motor all back together and then all I need is a clutch and then the engine and trans will be going back in.
