just a reminder about your guesses for how many cars will be in attendance. whoever guesses the right amount of cars that show up wins 25.00. they can keep the money or donate it to the heart fund that smedley is collecting for. you have to be in attendance to win, & the closest to the actual number without going over wins. there is a list already started if someone wants to update it. tks danny you cant pick someone elses guess. i pick 70 if someone can add it to the list, tks

^^Love this place...the animals are soooo friendly...and I guess the people are ok too...hhehehehe. I hope anyone that stays does not snore...man...there was someone before that just drove people out of the house.

If anyone wants details about the snoring from hell night, ask PU241 or Kartracer about it. They describe it so well you can hear the window blinds flapping against the walls with the snores.

poor Dan....lol. Too bad Tom will not be coming...he could add a story of his own from 2 years ago....lol.

Need a place to stay for Madness?

Barb has pretty full house but Dan & I are trying to get ready for whoever wants to stay with us this year. Genevadirt had his room reserved last year and I have no idea who else is coming. We have couches that pull out, couches that are just couches, an air matress and a regular mattress to throw on the floor. I think we slept 14 for Deans funeral so dont feel like you are imposing. Plus this year we are halfway thru moving to a different house so we have overflow floor space there too. Dan and I are both off from Weds thru Monday so come and do mini vacation if you want.

For anyone who hasnt stayed at Econogray before, we are a no frills place. We are about 25 minutes from Barbs and the main meet site. There might be dust, dog hair, or parrot feathers. We usually make coffee in am and go for breakfast before heading to Raleigh and come back either by GPS whenever you want or travel with someone. Willie usually comes back just before dawn to get his one hour of sleep in before he hits the forum. The only problem is that we do have two large dogs and some birds so we are not very small child friendly. The dogs will play too hard and the birds will bite.
