OK, we're gonna call it July 29-30 at the Waterford Hills Track near Detroit.

Free Camping, bathrooms and showers. There should be at least 1 Festiva racing maybe 2.

Hum... that's the weekend for the vintage bike event at Mid-Ohio http://www.midohio.com/ , which I'm NOT going to miss this year. I suppose I could do both. Hum... :-)

Depending on the schedule of the Festiva thing, seems like one could do both. Things are usually winding down at Mid Ohio around 4 or so, and it looks like it's about 2.5 hours up to Detroit. So that would leave evening and Sunday for Festiva stuff. What happens up in Detroit?

BTW, this is the vintage bike event - a few weeks later is the vintage car weekend. Both are really cool :-).

                        I wanna go!

Where should I do a Yahoo Maps thing to? Detroit, or is there another smaller city near Waterford Hills?

I hope I can make this. 205 miles and just under 3.5 hours for me to go to Detroit. That's no problem. The problem is the two training events I'm attending in August.

I put in for vacation time for this and the two training events.

Clarkston is a bit farther, but no problem--if I can get off work! :?
