Last night here in Lees Summit I met a local guy driving a nice clean, nearly rust free 90 Festiva. It was white and has Escort alloy wheels, has about 100,000 on it, also sports a visor type thing fitted over the windshield. His name is Tom, and I told him about our get together on Oct 6th, he said that he looks on here sometimes. We have very few Festivas in my area and most are ones I know of, but this is first time I'd seen this one. He said he's owned it about 3 yrs, bought it locally, car came from Wyoming and is very clean and straight.

Should have snapped a picture. Funny you mention the visor thing, I had thought about trying to fab something up like a truck external sunvisor. I always wanted to find one to fit my AMC Eagle when I had it. I even did a mock up of one in PS.

This is the quick PS...also with the wheels I wanted to put on it.

Do you happen know what vehicle he got his off of? Hope he get on here and can make the meet. Would love to see his car and learn more about the visor.

Rafe, I need a rear seat. Are both seats gray?

I can take whichever seat you decide I should have :p

The split seat is just grey with like a grey pattern. There is no vinyl on the seat tops so shouldn't tear as easily as the type of rear seat I originally had in there.

The other seat I got at the yard is from a GL or LX model I think. It too has no vinyl on it and I think it has some blue stripes if I recall. It's still mostly grey though. I'll be getting them both out and inspecting them tomorrow. Both sets are rip free, but do have a few stains on the fabric...that may or may not clean up.

I also have my original grey seat with the vinyl spots on top that was starting to rip. It's in decent shape if someone was planning on reupholstering anyway it's definitely still usable. Otherwise I'll probably just be tossing it.

Would love to have another some day. Wanting one of the smaller ones though. SX/4 or Kammback. Would settle for another Woody wagon though. That was just too nice and I felt bad even driving the thing. It was survivor with 34k miles on it. Basically a show car and I was driving it as my DD!
