well ole glory is fixed and running just have to replace the drivers side automatic seat belt . altered is waiting on parts ...
does anyone know if I can use just the lap belt or if i have to have the shoulder belt (my motor went out and it is stuck in the unlocked position ) ???

morning Angie....you can pop the cover off and use an allen wrench to turn the motor to the locked position and then just click and unclick like a regular belt. I did that in one of mine. Got the belts set and then unplugged the module so they didn't decide to move.

I had a state trooper give me a seat belt ticket for not having the shoulder bet on, even though the lap belt was fastened. Quite a few NC police have said all they look for is the shoulder belt. I have been stopped a few times, or been through checkpoints, and not had an issue with the shoulder belt on, and the lap belt off...

^^ yep, even easier than click/unclick is just leave it clicked and use one hand to pull it over your head as you hop in and out. I did that on a couple of mine because the power belts moved too slowly.
