This place, Eagle's Haven RV Park; is where I spent a night in the Festiva January 23rd or so in 2008; which features a large heated shower room with sinks, toilets and a cement floor, amongst the rest of the facility's many fine attributes.[http://5starcampgrounds.com/eagles-haven-rv-park/
They've hosted a kayaker's gathering of dozens of participants from distant locations, and the place is typically home to about ten regular residents in self-contained rigs; which also has an office without regular attendant, a nice flat roof building which is fairly large-on the scale of a small cottage with sliding glass doors.
Nearby is the Silver Reef Casino/Hotel; which has added since I've moved here a fine network of paved cycling and/or pedestrian pathways, to accommodate such traffic along the fast Haxton Way arterial-the main road next to the Eagle's Haven; with regular bus service seven days a week, from the line which also serves Bellingham, WA about ten miles south of the park.
Definitely a sylvan setting, not far south within a mile or so, is also a ferry terminal which carries cars or trucks regularly to Lummi Island; set in the largest residential area of the Lummi Nation, where is also a high school and well staffed fire station for instance-though lacking in commercial outlets.
