Re: SOUTHWEST FESTIVA-FEST: OFFICIAL ROLL CALL

Ok we are discussing driving the festiva out. My original suggestion was gold Coast because it's only a few blocks off strip and is way cheaper to stay. We will be staying at my girls moms house but only be like 20 mins from where you guys would be at. I am also discussing where would be some good spots for photo shoots, now do you guys want all Vegas photos, or do you want some natural photos also? Like mountains, or desert?

Re: SOUTHWEST FESTIVA-FEST: OFFICIAL ROLL CALL

I would highly recommend Fremont street, it's a good time they have light shows on the ceiling, cheaper beer and good gambling. If you guys want to gamble one night I could show you some of the local casinos and the gambling is way better, slots are a little looser and not so expensive for drinks and stuff. Gambling on the strip will take your money really quick.... Lol but totally up to you guys, I definitely think we would spend the first day and night walking the strip and seeing the different hotels and shows they have along the strip.

I wonder if you could marry your festiva?

Progress Report: my car is going under the knife tomorrow. Sold my Vanagon yesterday to make room for another Festiva in my tiny driveway. Fighting to get the time off for the upcoming weekend. We haven't heard from TheresGabe for a few days: anyone know how he is doing? Is there anyone else planning to go to Vegas? My GF and I probably won't be able to leave for Vegas until around 5:00, which will put us in at about 2:00 A.M. So we would need to meet on Saturday, at the assigned meeting place, if there is one!

Is it time to update the list of attendees yet?

Well guys I think I have to pass on this one. Now I cannot leave until I get off of work on Friday and it is too much of a drive to be there on Saturday and then have to turn around to come back home. If for some reason things change I'll be there. But for now count us out.

As soon as there is a date for later in the summer or in the fall I will put in for vacation and not cancel for anything.

Have a great time and keep posting.

That's too bad Bolokid. Still no word from TheresGabe, and no update on who is still planning to go. Also, no fixed meeting location. My GF will miss her favorite band, as we can't get there by Friday evening. I am still prepared to make the journey, but it would be cool to know who else is going NO MATTER WHAT, and if so, when and where to rendevous. I like organized Chaos as well, Chobobulous. I just don't want to be in Vegas and not be able to find all the other Festiva Folks!

Chob, she can't take Friday off, so we won't get on the road until 5-ish. it's a 10-hour+drive from Santa Cruz Ca to Vegas. The way things are going, it looks like it's just me&you! I am having doubts now, but still keeping the Faith!

well im going but still considering taking the edge and going to cali to get the boat, just doesnt seem like anybody is gonna be there. I have no choice cuz family is expecting us, just dont wanna take the festiva if its not gonna be a meet... know what i mean. I really need to get this boat back here so i can get going on rebuilding the motors.
