ya the Iowa meet is kinda generic but we will talk about it at the meet and have an official name for next year.

Not sure if I'm gonna be able to make it. I'm not trusting the car at long distances these days. Running temp is a little high. I still have a rear wheel bearing I need to replace too.

Call if you need some help, not a hard job, should not take more than an hour, I have an extra spindle if needed.

Try flushing you coolant system with 4 scoops of Cascade. I use a Gatorade drink mix scoop. Works great and gets everything nice and clean. It sometimes requires more than one treatment

I've got the bearings and grease gun. Just haven't had the time lately. And I'm not sure why it's running hot. I suspect the Engine is on it's last leg.

Fresh I have not contacted Dan, the last I knew he was working most Saturdays. Probably my mistake but I figured he would see it on the site. Thanks for the reminder.

Looking a little grim for me as well, took the ol girl out to the car wash to get her all purtied up, and got stranded on the way home, had to go get my trailer. The following day (friday) I spent the better part of the day working on it trying to fingure out the problem but I was just having too many issues with the carb, I ended up having to load her back up and turn it over to the professionals they are going to tear into it today, its going to be down to the wire for me everybody wish me luck!!hmmmmmm

mystro, I chose to have this meet as an alternative for people in the Mid West who could not make it to Madness, I hope you get your car sorted out and back on the road and if you can't make it, well I will be eating a couple extra burgers and a lot of home made ice cream. Good luck and maybe we will see you next time.

That would be great, the meet is about the car but it's more about the people. Come on over. The Weather looks to be great, in the mid 70's
