  • Thanks for FM7

I'm back from FM7 and feeling good. I want to thank Barb and her crew for a great time. Friday night was great. Burgers, dogs and homemade goodies like potato salad, casseroles and great desserts. Lots of good socializing and meeting new people and oh yeah, we got to see a Master Mechanic at work.....banana time

Saturday was beautiful. There were 50 some cars in attendance and the venue was the perfect size. As always we got reacquainted with old friends and meeting new ones. Lots of parts exchanged hands and I'm sure plans were made for future mods and learning how to make needed repairs.

Thanks again for all the hard work it took to put on the event and know that it's appreciated. It is a really good thing you're doing for the community.

I had an absolute blast this year as well. Can't wait for FM8. Hopefully my car will be a little more reliable next year. Ended up putting the hood from the red car Nate was driving on it 1/3 of the way home to keep the oil off the windshield. :p

        Yup it was fun.
Wish I could have made it to barbs the night prior.

But the drive there and back was fun.
And well have to do it again next year.

A big shout out to Barb and the FM7 crew! It is so amazing that Barb hosts this cool event!
I had a lot of fun and it was great to meet the people that I have conversed with on this forum, and finally see the faces behind the names!
Everyone one was great, the food was good, and it was a good all around time!

Just woke up from a short nap, after I got back into town at 8:00 AM this morning. A 14 hour drive that was well worth it !!!!

Thanks to everyone for making the effort to come. It makes the work worthwhile. And, I don't do this alone. I have lots of help. Scitzz (and his whole family) Britstiva, Laurel, Motoxpress and Lady Blaster, Jiminy Cricket and Sam.1956.

I think maybe moving the meet was a jinx for Sam. He couldn't be here due to a family emergency. And, he missed Madness 2, which was held at the same location. So, was it the location change that caused it? Sure hope not!!! Love ya Sammy and I hope everything is going well.
