  • Bad news for me guys

Your all going to have to wait till the fall ohiostiva meet, to see pimptiva, she has come down with the flu, probably brought on by all the stress of the wedding.

    Here is what happened.

Spent the whole day working on the car, Took the hood and grill off, modified the grill, wet sanded the crap out of them, repainted them glossy black to match the bumpers. Went to the (arsehole) mechanic and got the compressions checked 150,120,120,150 he says thats okay, alittle weak but okay. Change the spark plugs, we even called down to carquest to make sure he gaped them right. Everything is good, drove the car back to my dads like 3 miles away, no problems. PUt the hood back on, rivet down the hood pins, put the sweet grill back on, make sure I don't make any mark on the fresh soft paint, okay all going good. Realize I see a drip under car, turns out its tranny fluid, coming from the brand new ring seal I put in when I put the drivers side axle in, damit, check the fluid its fine. All my other fluids FINE... The leak is really minor. Anyways just got home from my dads 35 miles drive, about half way I get into town and my car starts to act alittle funny, it kind of hesitated then learch when I started from a stop light. I think maybe I just muscle spasmed the pedal, done it before. Does it again at the next light, then its really starting to hesitate and skip the harder I push on the pedal. So I basically had to excellerate at a snail speed, to get up to speed, but the engine still was lacking major power, and I don't know whats wrong. I still have the old sparkplugs, im hoping that the new ones are screwed up somehow, who knows.

Anyways so im not going to make it, the two incidents, tranny, and engine, are signs that I can't risk making the trip with the wedding one week away, cant afford a car breaking down way out there.

So you all are going to have to wait alittle longer, and maybe there will be more goodies with the wait. Absense makes the heart grow fonder right... :sad1: :sad10: :sex: :violent1: :simon:
