May seems to be the consensus. I want it to be convenient. Anybody with any preferences for which weekend in May?

I could make any one of weekend in May but vote for the 2nd weekend.

I live in the Asheville area and can make pretty much any weekend I'll keep an eye on this post and try to make it even if I cant get Fiona down at that time.

Well, OhioStiva is May 24th, and the most votes are for the second weekend, so, mark your calendars kiddies, The second weekend of May will be NCStiva!

Now, to pick a site. I had a quick conversation in passing with the manager at Oreilly's and we would want to plan a little with him, but he says bring it on. I still need to scout the Eno River site as well.

My wife is pushing at me to have it at our house. We are at the end of a road next to a rock quarry. Room for camping, cars, and a place to wrench. :woc:Our 3/10th of a mile road is dirt and can get rough after heavy rains, but isn't too bad ATM. Some good curves nearby though. :tm: We should be able to get away with being a little loud as long as it isn't too late, and no hot dogging in the neighborhood.




Looking at the Eno site, that would be OK for a day meet, but camping is a bit roughing it, which might not be the best for a car meet.

Either way I will be there car wont be finished but will be there as long as nothing happens. I have to decided to go after a dream of mine and open my very own shop. So I am in the process of building a shop and getting ready to open for business around may. So for the time being the festiva will have to take a back burner

What kind of shop? Automotive?

Yep automotive shop. I have always had a passion for working on cars and now I am going to pursue that. Tired of working for the man to lol
