  • Indy meet in November 2014?

Hi all, looking to do a meet in the Indianapolis area sometime in November, before the weather gets really cold. Probably a Saturday is best; so we're looking at the dates 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. I can do any date, but I'm thinking earlier is generally better, due to winter approaching. Maybe at a nice pizza or burger place in Indy.

    Here's one possibility, at 5646 E Washington St: http://jockamopizza.com/

At the minumum, John/Pu241 and I will be there, as we have parts to change hands.

I'm in, 1,8,15,22 work best for me, if we are going to have a swap and sell I have a set of Miata Daises to sell and I have some parts to get from PU241 win win.
Calling all Mid West Festiva Members Indy is calling. Jockamo Pizza Place looks good.

I am up for an Indy meet, as long as everyone agrees on a date soon enough I can request that day off. I missed out on Ohiostiva, and Madness, so a meetup would be cool, even a small meetup would be nice.

I am up for any day really, but it would be best if it were the earliest possible to avoid it getting too cold.

Hey Fred, you want to just drive to STL and then ride with me, or drive separately? I would be leaving here early Sat. morning. I figure the meet to start at 11am. on whichever Saturday, so I need to leave STL no later than 6:30am.

Everyone seems to like Nov. 8th in the poll. Rather than wait until the poll closes on the 4th, I suggest we just call it for the 8th, so people can make their plans. And Jockamo's Pizza for the location.

I just gave it the standards 2 weeks to run the poll.
            I can terminate it anytime.
Might be able to reset it to closing this Friday, 10/24?

I second this idea, lets call it the 8th and close the poll.

I'm in Not sure if any 3 of my festivas will be good to go in time, as I'm in the process of moving. But the 8th should be perfect for me!

I won't have much time that day but I'm going to try to swing by and check out the cars & say hello.

By all means come on up! Always good to meet new people.

So the 8th @ Jockamo's, at 11am-ish. Looking thru the threads, I noticed that a time was not mentioned. The 8th is the runaway favorite in the poll, and Jockamo's opens @ 11.

Are you gonna stay overnight somewhere, like between Indy and STL, or drive straight back home?

That idea has been thrown around but nothing definite.
