Our definition of super early is probably something around the neighborhood of midnight to 4 am. That being said, there is plenty of room for anyone who wants to show up at the house on Thursday and nap before we go. Madness Central is roughly a 12 hour trip from Indianapolis when you count gas and food stops.

It's looking more and more like we will leave Thursday night/Friday morning. Depending on how comfortable everyone is with driving; if we could depart at 1 or 2 am Friday morning I'd be thrilled. I know it sounds crazy, but it's a great way to avoid the worst of the traffic in the places we go. I'm not above stopping in a rest area for a nap if anyone needs it, either.

Opinions, anyone? The latest I see us leaving is 4 am Friday, and I really don't want it to be that late. Too much wedding stuff to do, even though I know the Madness Central committee will have it under control.

But Mike, or anyone for that matter, you're welcome to sleep over/nap at our house before we leave. We have plenty room and garage space for last minute adjustments.

Does Chillicothe work for you to meet us? It's roughly 3 hours from Indy and would probably be the easiest meet up point.

Mike, if you come to Indy and catch a quick nap, are you ok with leaving earlier in the morning?

Sure. I get off work Thursday and head straight there.

I'll probably work a half day Thursday so I can be in indy by 8 ish.
That leaves time for any last minute stuff and eating.

Smaller caravans in the past, we have used walkie talkies to communicate when we need gas breaks and stuff. I'll try to figure out those logistics and what will be easiest to use to communicate. We'll need to figure out which car gets the worst mileage--likely going to be my Aspire at around 23 MPGs (unless it improves with new steering rack and tires)
