So I was looking at the interactive map that shows where all the users are and was wondering why Festiva Madness is still held in NC? It looks like the majority of the active users live more towards Central US. It would be a slightly further drive for me personally but has anyone questioned why it isn't moved to somewhere closer to the Majority? Say like anywhere between Nashville & Charlotte?

The map relies on people to add themselves to it. There are a lot of members that aren't on there.
Madness Central is at Barb's house. Barb is the wife of the late Dean Allan. Dean is not DJ, who is also passed. Dean wasn't the founder of the site but he was a huge part of the community.91GL BP/F3A with boost

We have a great start to Central States Festiva Madness put on by William and his wife, There is a large number of members in this area but getting them off their buts and out to the meets is difficult. An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

Right, there's nothing to stop people in other cities from starting their own meet. If it's close enough to enough people, it will take off. Especially in the non-rust belt states, where more Festivas are still presumably alive.90 Festy (Larry)--B6M (Matt D. modified B6 head), header, 5-speed, Capri XR2 front brakes, many other little mods

Sorry to jack this thread.
Is there any in Florida that yall know about or want to get started? I know Flyin4Stroke and Eurotiva are in Central FL along with a couple of other members that I'm not familiar with. As of right now, the closest event I have going on around me is a Mazda Eat & Greet that I might go to."The White Turd" 1993 Festiva 144k miles. (Winner of FOTM November 2016)
