I know the one I took out of my Festiva is does not look the greatest because it had no cover on it but it is not falling apart. Why don't you just switch to an Escort dome light?"The White Turd" 1993 Festiva 144k miles. (Winner of FOTM November 2016)

But now that you mention it, I never thought about pulling one of the Escorts light that don't have the map lights to see if it would work.
The plastic they are made of may be better that the original stuff they used for the Festiva lights that gets brittle from heat and humidity.

Anyone coming to Madness interested in a gray dash. That's something that is difficult to justify shipping but I think I could manage to get it in Rosie for the trip. It includes the dash wiring harness (From a 1993 L which came without factory air). Decent shape but the fuse door is missing. I can include the instrument cluster bezel but no center bezel. All the metal braces have been removed for cleaning but I have all of them and all of the bolts and screws plus the air handling pipes, so it will be easy to put back together. There are three small holes drilled on the side of the instrument panel shield but could easily be filled or you could mount something there. Can post picture is anyone is interested.Last edited by 1990new; 09-23-2016, 09:05 PM.

Orange Tach Cluster
I will be bringing this Orange Tach Cluster to Madness to sell.
The tach hand is broken but firebush is bringing me a hand to put on it.
Everything works on it except the odometer. It is stuck at 109838 and does not advance as you drive.
The speedometer and tach, all the gauges and all the light on it are good. One light was burned out but I put a new one in.
The trip meter works and it does reset to zero.
The face and lens are in good condition. Come see me at Madness and take a look if you are interested.

Flywheel for $5
Rosie is going to be loaded down but if anyone wants a flywheel from a 93 Festy it's your for the absurd price of $5 and I will deliver to Madness. Let me know by Thursday or I won't put it in Rosie for the trip.
And for a buck more I will trow in a used clutch and pressure plate that still has some life in it.

Anyone coming to madness that needs a part that would be costly to mail that I could bring, please ask me if I have it now.
There is not much room left in Rosie to add parts.
I just added two almost new Yokohama tires on nice Festiva steelies into the passenger seat.
They are balanced and ready to roll. Will offer them for $40 each at Madness. No advance sale on these.
They will go to the first person I encounter at Madness who walks up to take a look at them and gives me the money.Last edited by 1990new; 09-29-2016, 05:20 PM.

Made it to Madness and had a great time at the cookout at Barbs.
Amazingly, it looks like I did remember to bring every thing that I said I would bring for people.
Back to the hotel and it's about time to turn in for the night so I can get to Madness early tomorrow.
