So this is a car included event?
What all would we need to actually pay for?
In the future what would be the best arrangements? stay on site or rent a room nearby
This is something i would do in a heart beat if i could get off work. Next year i finally get 10 days vacation! I get 5 in august! I will be in on the next one for sure if we get to use a provided car. 75% chance i use my own.1990 (LUCIFER 2.0) fully built BP+T with E153, Fueltech FT500, traction control with hopes of 600hp (i drank to much of the KOOL-AID)
1990 OverKILL BP+T, evo ecu system, coilovers, aspire brakes, full advanced suspension, Garrett! The Autocross toy!
1989 (BRITSTIVA 1.0) B6T and sold
19?? 150$ burnout car SOLD

Car availability is currently limited, but can be rented for extra, includes tyres, fuel, brakes etc. We expect to have more available next year. You should bring your own, as we have full setup capability at the garage!Originally posted by mikemounlio View PostSo this is a car included event?

Hotels are 20 minutes away, but feel free to doss down in the garage, if we have a group, bring your own sleeping bag/cot.
Whether you rent a car or not, you get a pro instructor, full shop facilities and setup, any other mechanical or instructional help you need.
We usually have food enough for everybody, but you are welcome to do breakfast and dinner in town if you wish. We try to maximize everyones track time.No car too fast !

Knew it was comming.....Originally posted by mikemounlio View PostSo what kinda price is it to rent a festiva?
lots of variables, but I'll give as straight an answer as I can.
Take Cauldron as an example B6T Lemons car, if we are transporting to and from just for one day, fresh tyres and full support, we are talking about $1500, for two day event about $2500.
But if the car is at the track already, and we have old tyres to burn off, could be as cheap as $55 a 30 minute session. We don't make any money on this, that just covers normal consumables, if someone wrecks it, or breakes it due to negligence, they will have to cover that, or buy the car outright.
Just an example. We love these cars, and want to help those who wish to, learn to drive these cars to their full potential. No car too fast !

$275.00 a day is just for track fee. We are lucky enough to have Gila Monster Racing as an event sponsor. They are a founding member of the track, which is a country club environment. This isn't a public facility, it's invite only and very exclusive. Without the hospitality of GMR we would not be allowed on the property. The track charges GMR for every "guest" on track, as a Golf country club would charge for guests to use their private facilities.Originally posted by mikemounlio View PostSo this is a car included event?

Thanks. If I come Friday I think I might have to skip Sunday. The problem is I have no idea what family obligations I'll have and when. I don't think they will be planning things on either day but I'm not sure. Also not sure how they would feel about me being gone the day before and after the service.Originally posted by Advancedynamix View PostSorry to hear about your Grandmother. You're welcome to join in on Friday and I believe Ryal has you down for private training on Sunday. I may be able to stay for Sunday depending on who is going back to Phoenix when. Ben needs to be on a plane Sunday morning, but I can always drive back out to the track. It looks like we're gong to have a pretty decent turn out for something this far out.Better Than Nothing Racing
Way too many cars
