So anyone else want to convoy out? Figured I should try to plan on getting into phoenix Wednesday night or early Thursday. So leave here Sunday afternoon or early Monday morning? My usual roadtrip plan is just drive till I'm tired then find a place to stop for the night but we could do planned overnights stops if someone prefers it. Current planned route unless someone has a better idea.

If you want to stop here in Amherst, VA it only adds about 8miles to the trip, and is about 6 hours into the trip for you. Could stay here Sunday night, then head out early Monday? two 15hr days of driving and we're there Tuesday night, or maybe break it up a bit more and do 3 10hr days arriving Wed afternoon.
I'm not quite sure on my travel plans, depending on how things work out with getting the car ready and if my wife wants to come along or not, but either way you're welcome to stay here!~Nate

We will but I think we'll probably 6+hrs ahead if we do 12-15hr days.
Hey Nate if we manage to make to somewhere between Albuquerque and Flagstaff on Tuesday we could go play in some canyons on the way into Phoenix.

I was figuring we would end up around memphis on mon night and Amarillo on tues night, but that's just eyeballing it into 3 pretty even days. I'm definitely up for finding some canyons! Even with the car somewhat loaded down it will be fun.
Ben mentioned he is spending Tues night in Amarillo, so if we end up near there we may be able to meet up with him for the last day.~Nate

That sounds good to me Clif! If you have a spot on the floor I could sleep on that would be fine by me. What do you think Shore?
Also, my wife said I should warn you we don't have TV - so if you want to watch the "big game" Sunday it won't be playing here~Nate
