Midwestiva! and planning.

ok i dunno if the names taken or not, but im going to start the planning of a spring event to draw in the midwest members of the club and try to get a date and location set. i know that there are enough of us here to get a very good size meet together but we need to get ahead of the game and get some details going!

any ideas for a location? i was thinking Iowa since it is far enough south to draw up the southern folks and isnt far out from illinois,minnesota, the dakotas or wisconsin.

more northern iowa than anything though...

thoughts?

im just figureing that we dont wanna go that far south since thats southern territory which will leave most of us that live in the northernmost states out of it, central midwest is kinda what i was going for so everyone can up here come and get together since most of us are way far away from most of the big meets...

and yeah im gonna be giving D a call soon to see if hes got any ideas since he's got some crazy contacts...

If ya guys get settled on somewhere in Eastern Mo (I saw someone mention St Louis) I work in STL and live near I-44 Exit 208 . . . I'd be happy to help with any logistics/info . . . my little Roller Skate is fairly known 'round these parts . . . there's some great places to hang out and some pretty cool roads to explore in this area. ;-)

well this is still pretty far off, but im not gonna rule out Missouri either. personally i wouldnt mind st louis, what about someof the other northern folk? you guys have an opinion in this too! (ex dakotas, michigan, wisconsin)
