  • Rita heading for FF.Com

Ok well the servers are in downtown Houston. Rita is a Category 5 and still strengthening. I will be leaving tomorrow evening if it stays on its current track. So wish us luck and hopefully the site won't be down for long.

    Peace..

Hopefully it does not take out the server for too long and that you, your family, house and all your cars stay safe.

Our prayers go out to all those in the path of Rita. Servers, cars and houses can be replaced..... people can't.

        Take care

to what? It's a virtual server not hosted on my end.. The backup would still reside at the host.. No time to dl and burn to a cd.. I'm already evacuated.. luckily I even have internet access.. since I have a huge 3'x5' pc with 12 harddrives, I just pulled the drives and brought them with me..

unless Rita freaks out and takes a good left, it seems we have dodged the bullet so to speak... depending on the amount of rain and flooding, I may be able to return tomorrow.. Shorty stayed there with that huge wrecker. He will swing by the house and let me know if I can get the Festivas down my street... hopefully no trees have made my livingroom their home..

I hope there won't be a "next one!" I think ya'll have had enough for this year.
