Constantly having to sign in

I signed on earlier for the first time in several days and after signing in, I clicked on New Posts to see what I had been missing. The list of posts came up, but after that, every time I clicked on anything: to read a post, or to go to the next page, or go to "Home," or to "User CP," I kept getting a You do not have permission message telling me to click refresh and sign in. If I refreshed and logged in again, the next thing I tried would tell me exactly the same thing again. It was like being stuck in a time warp!

I tried logging in a couple of times and got frustrated and left the forum. Now, I'm back and everything seems normal, except of course the New Posts counter has reset so I don't know what was there. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? I've never experienced anything crazy like that before.

check your cookie settings within your browser

Sometimes I have had that happen .

When you log in , hit the remember me button ,and see if that helps .

You can always hit the quick links button and hit the todays post , and it will bring the last 24 hours up if you lost your "New Post" ...post .

Try to clear your Cookies.

It's an issue with your cookies. Clear them and then use the "Remember me" setting when you login.
